Whether opting for a quick 45-minute loop or a more extensive 3-hour adventure to Palisades Point, participants can customize their experience based on the group's preferences and abilities.

What We Provide:

• Snowshoe and Pole Rentals: Our comprehensive rental package includes top-notch snowshoes and poles, ensuring you have the right gear for your journey.

• Digital Map with Loop Options: Navigate the snow-covered terrain effortlessly with our digital map of the Palisades Loops, offering four unique loop options suitable for all snowshoeing abilities and time constraints.

    • (45 minute )    The Quick Loop  

    • (1 hour)           Mini Meadow Loop

    • (2 hour)           Frog Meadow Loop

    • (3 hour).          Palisades Point Loop 

    • If you Choose the longest loop to follow your adventure will take you to Palisades Point, (same as our half day guided tour route), reaching the highest and tallest points for panoramic views of Alpine Meadows, and Palisades Tahoe Ski Resorts.
       

Consider Bringing:  To make the most of your self-guided snowshoe tour:

1. Appropriate Clothing: Check our packing list located on the bottom of this page for Details on what to bring. Dress in layers, wear waterproof and insulated boots, and bring appropriate jacket for the conditions.

2. Personal Items: Carry a backpack, sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, water, snacks, and any personal belongings you may need.

3. Camera or Smartphone: Capture the breathtaking winter scenery and memorable moments.

4. Health and Safety Items: Bring any necessary medications.

5. Navigation Tool: Although we provide a digital map, and up-to-date map app on your phone with GPS device, can be useful.

6. Timekeeping Device: Ensure you have a watch or another timekeeping device to track your adventure's duration.

7. Personal Comfort Items: If desired, bring items like hand warmers or a neck gaiter for added comfort.
